There is a rumor being reported that the Browns may be among the teams interested in trading for Eagles WR Desean Jackson. Jackson has been highly productive with the Eagles, but his high cap number ($10.5 million dollars in 2014) has the Eagles open to trade offers. They are rumored to one at least a 3rd round draft pick in exchange for Jackson.

I love Deshaun as a player for the Eagles. I think he’s a great playmaker. I dont want him in Cleveland. He’s drama, he’s gonna want a boat load of money soon. Why trade assests to get ourselves into that mess when you can get a very good #2 reciever in this years draft. Whats wrong with Watkins as a #2? You get nearly the same speed/playmaking ability and a better contract situation for a growing team. Taking Watkins is debateble at #4 ofc considering we have other needs. I think there’s gonna be some good WR talent left in the 3rd round of the draft to add depth to our WR unit. No to Jackson in Cleveland.

Excuse me.. But what drama? Never been arrested. Never killed anyone. Never beaten a woman. All people have these issues with him because he’s not the same old boring guy… He has a personality. (Like Manziel). And why would he want more money? He’s got 3 more years on his deal for 10 million per. No one will pay him more so I don’t see him asking for more. And Watkins at 4 is an absolute horrible pick. He has a route tree of about 4 routes, and runs way to stiff. And he’s isn’t going to be a Megatron, or Flash Gordon, or Aj Green. Those are the only recievers worthy of taking top 5. Maybe if we had a QB and were a piece or 2 away, but we’ve got no one to throw him him the ball, and when someone like Manziel is available, it’s a much better pick for this team. And reportedly, the eagles would be asking for a 3rd rounder. Why take a chance on a reciever in the 3rd, when you can get a proven pro bowler for the same pick?

And why is that? Tell me what is so bad about Manziel? Don’t say “He could get hurt” because trying to predict someone is going to get injured is idiotic. No one knows how his body will react until he plays. Don’t say he’s a me first guy either or has a bad attitude because he doesn’t. Never been arrested. People honestly hate him before they even see him because he has a personality. And the only other thing is he’s shorter. That could be a concern, but plenty of QBs have side around the size of 6″.

Manziel is a hack…. He has no pocket presence, he has no vision. The pocket collapses and he runs… That wont cut it in the NFL. Now, tell me what is so good about him? And don’t say he is a winner.. cause all NFL’ers were winners at one point. And just cause he is great one the field with 1 or 2 NFL level athletes doesn’t mean he will do a damn thing when the field is full of them. No one with a head on there shoulders is taking Manziel that high.

Ah. He’s a “hack”. Wonderful response. It’s safe to say you know nothing about football with responses like these. Has no pocket awareness, really? In all of the AQ conferences, he completed the best percentage of his passes from the pocket, 73%. Not only that, his mobility in the pocket is outstanding. He can escape the rush inside the pocket, and then move outside the pocket and find a reciever on the sideline with great accuracy. Just because he moves in the pocket, doesn’t mean he had bad pocket awareness. Not to mention being able to throw from the pocket. Vision? He completed 48% of his passes 25 yards or longer. In the top 10 of AQ conferences. Not only that, he’s accurate and has a good arm. And I’m not going to say he’s a winner, but he is a leader. You idiots can complain about his personality, but face it, he gets his guys to play hard and motivated, and lead his team to wins with no semblance of a defense. The Browns need a leader as a QB. And no ones taking Manziel that high? Lol. Look. I know for dolts like you, ESPN is your lifeline. But please. What have you said to back up your comments… you are projecting stats from a COLLEGE game to a PROFESSIONAL game… That are inflated at best. Like I have said from the beginning he is a good player in college but what he does.. how he plays wont work in the NFL. What you say would make sense if he played in the ACC or Big 10, conferences that have no talent. And what you say would make sense if the crux of my argument was that he played in a great conference. But its not. you make off basis claims like his stats are inflated. how? He played in the best conference against the best talent, and with a raw reciever who would be a 1st round pick due unless Manziel was his QB. He did choose to run his first year, but his second year he cut his carries in half. God, I hope this is false. I cannot stand his attitude. He is extremely selfish and does not put team first. I also do not think he has a great work ethic. I doubt he would wanna restructure his contract to play in Cleveland… no chance I would pay $10.5M for him.
